A SERIOUS crash on the M5 has been cleared in time for this morning's rush hour National Highways has said.
The emergency services attended the crash northbound at Junction 5 (Droitwich) of the motorway at around 10.30pm on Monday night (December 13).
National Highways said the junction was closed after the "serious collision", with traffic diverted via the exit and entry slip roads.
Drivers were asked to "please approach with caution" as it assisted West Mercia Police with traffic management.

Providing an update at 4am this morning, National Highways has reported the incident had been cleared.
National Highways said: "Update: The M5 northbound within J5 has reopened following a serious collision last night.
"Traffic is flowing freely in all lanes and residual delays are clearing. Thank you for your patience overnight."
