FANS have hit out at the hate Cher Lloyd received during her time on X Factor and claim she was badly treated by the record industry.
A video of Cher Lloyd singing her audition song Turn My Swag On live at a YouTube Space performance in 2018 is currently going viral on TikTok.
In the stripped back performance, the Malvern singer is accompanied by only a drummer, keyboard and guitarist.
She delivers a pitch perfect performance of the Soulja Boy song with Cher's performance a copy of the Keri Hilson cover.
The TikTok has had almost 700,000 views after being shared by user @catchmeonmywaves yesterday (Monday).
People in the comments have leapt to the 28-year-old's defence saying she was treated poorly during her time on the X Factor.
The show catapulted her to fame when she appeared in 2010 aged just 16 years old.
At the time the then teenager faced claims in the tabloids of bullying and fall outs with her mentor Cheryl Cole.
TikTok user glasgowboy5 said: "The music industry seriously never gave her enough of a chance she had a few great songs out in a row then disappeared."
"She didn't deserve the hate she got, it was manufactured."
