THERE will be haggis, bagpipes and a six-course Scottish feast at a countryside hotel's Burns Night Celebrations.

Bank House Hotel, Spa and Golf Club in Bransford will be hosting a Burns Night Celebration on Saturday, January 22.

Guests can enjoy a six-course traditional Scottish dinner, the customary toast to the haggis, a piper and entertainment from The Whole Caboodle band.

A raffle will also be held with some fantastic prizes on offer and the money raised being donated directly to St Richard’s Hospice.

Adam Richards, General Manager of the Bank House Hotel, said: “After the excitement of Christmas, people don’t have to wait long for another reason to get together and celebrate.

“Burns Night is a fantastic celebration and with a great Scottish community here in Worcester, we aim to bring of a touch of tartan to Worcester.

“The fact that we’re also raising money for the local St Richard’s Hospice is great opportunity for us to help give something towards the amazing work they do.

"Times are tough for so many people, but charities like this have seen huge struggles with funding and we’re hoping to do as much as we can to raise as much as we can on January 22.”

The event will be held in the Bank House Hotel’s spacious Elgar Suite with a limited capacity to enable a safe, socially-distanced celebration in-line with current government restrictions and recommendations.

Tickets for the evening cost £50 and include a six-course dinner, toast and entertainment.
