A SPEEDING driver was caught by two city centre speeding cameras less than a mile apart within days of each other.
Vasile Lupu was first caught speeding in his Peugeot by the speed camera on the A44 New Road on June 9 last year.
Just two days later, the 37-year-old was caught speeding again on Tybridge Street on June 11.
The speed cameras are less than half a mile apart and both city centre roads are restricted to 30mph.
Lupu, of Eastfield Close, Fernhill Heath, was fined £220 for speeding on New Road and his licence was endorsed with three points.
He was also ordered to pay a £44 victim surcharge and court costs of £90 at Hereford Magistrates Court on Thursday, January 6.
Lupu was fined a further £220 for the second offence.
In total, he must pay £574.
