THERE are numerous beautiful places across Worcestershire to take your furry friends out for their weekend.

Here are five of the best walks in Worcestershire that you your dog can enjoy with stunning scenery and lots of space to run.

Malvern Hills Walk

For the dogs with endless energy, the Malvern Hills walk is sure to keep them busy.

The route extends for 3.8 miles and covers four peaks across the Malvern Hills.

Starting from the British Camp car park and heading up past the Malvern Hills hotel, you and your four-legged companion will soon come to the gently rising slopes of lovely Black Hill standing at 1011 feet.

With stunning views and the dog-friendly Chase Inn at the end of it, this route is great for all sorts of dogs this year.

'Paradise' Valley Walk, Clifton-on-Teme

For the dogs who love water, the 'Paradise' Valley walk has plenty of rivers and streams to excite your pup.

The area has a network of well-marked riverside paths, woodland and open spaces for dogs to explore.

It’s a valley ramble which is rich in wildlife and scenic countryside, taking you and your dog through lanes and coppices and over bridges.

There are several gates and stiles and one or two steep slopes to navigate to, so it’s perfect for the more agile dog and owner looking for a slightly more vigorous countryside escapade.

Worcester Woods Country Park, Worcester

For dogs with little legs, Worcester Woods country park has shorter routes for your furry friends' adventures.

This walk is a great choice if you are looking for a flat route in Worcestershire and it is wheelchair friendly.

Worcester Woods country park even has a dog wash station to hose off your pets after they have explored the woodland.

The area also offers some space for dogs to run around off lead.

Hartlebury Common

For the dogs who love to dig, the sandy terrain at Hartlebury Common is perfect.

There are some steep areas on this walk so it is not ideal for any dogs or owners who would struggle with these.

Most of Hartlebury Common is suited to off-lead walking, giving your dog the opportunity to roam freely and burn his energy.

There are three parking areas available when you visit this area for your walk.

Evesham Country Park

For sociable dogs, Evesham Country park usually has lots of other dogs off their leads for your pup to greet.

The routes have a variety of orchards, open fields and riverside areas.

The park has a miniature steam train so there are some gates to go through to keep out of its way.
