A BOY was left with potentially serious injuries after being hit by a car last night (Wednesday).
The boy was hit off his scooter by a car in Gresham Road in Dines Green near the Co-op supermarket at 4.53pm.
The boy was treated for potentially serious injuries and taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
A man who was driving the car was also treated by paramedics and discharged at the scene.
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) sent an ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car to the scene.
A WMAS spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a scooter on Gresham Road at 4.53pm.
"One ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car attended the scene.
"On arrival, we discovered a boy, from the scooter, who was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to Worcester Royal Hospital for further assessment.
"The car driver, a man, was assessed and discharged at the scene."
