A man and woman have been charged with carrying out two armed raids on Worcester homes which left one victim with injuries.

Officers received reports of two offenders entering a residential property with weapons while the occupant was home on Monday (January 10).

Initial enquiries revealed a separate raid had also taken place at another house on the same date, leaving the person at the home with injuries.

Police say they quickly identified Cleo O'Donnell and Anthony Hannay as suspects and swiftly arrested the pair in the early hours of this morning (January 13).

The duo have both been charged with two counts of aggravated burglary and a further two counts of false imprisonment, they appeared for a hearing at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court earlier today.

In a picture released by police, 22-year-old O'Donnell can be seen brazenly poking her tongue out while in custody.

Both O'Donnell and Hanley have been remanded in prison and will appear before Worcester Crown Court on February 22.
