A driver caught speeding at 45 miles-per-hour in a 30 zone has been dished out a hefty fine.
Chief Constable Pippa Mills helped snare the motorist while out on a speed enforcement operation in Warndon earlier yesterday (January 13).
The checks, carried out by road safety teams in a mobile camera van, were in response to community concerns about dangerous driving in the area.
She confirmed the driver in question will now receive a £100 fine and have their licence endorsed with three penalty points.

Really pleased that most vehicles were driving safely within the 30 mph limit. One motorist driving at 45mph will receive 3 penalty points and £100 fine #policingpromise pic.twitter.com/qWEAHzyyLR
