Gritters will be out on the roads of Worcestershire tonight as road temperatures will hit lows of -4.2C.
Worcestershire highways said there is a risk of hoar frost, ice and fog across the county.
“Please take care and stay safe on the roads,” it said in a tweet.
Gritters will be out and about from 7pm this evening (Sunday, January 16).
Worcestershire County Council grits 2,371km of road when there's a risk of snow or ice forming.
It concentrates first on its Primary Network, which covers about 30% of the county's roads. It takes about two-and-a-half hours to complete a gritting route.
Motorways and trunk roads (the M5, M42, M50 and A46) are the responsibility of Highways England.
