A collision on the A46 collision near Evesham caused two casualties.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue were called at 13:21 yesterday (Jan 16), to deal with a road traffic collision involving two cars on the A46.
Two crews from Evesham Fire Station and a Warwickshire Fire Service crew based in Alcester attended the incident.
The incident occurred heading northbound between Twyford Bank and Salford Priors.
A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue said: "Two casualties were medically trapped; one was self-extricated and the other was extricated by fire service personnel with both then handed over to the ambulance service who attended along with the police.
"The incident was handed over to the police who closed the A46 northbound pending recovery of both vehicles.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 14:18."
