"Emergency roadworks" have been put up in Lansdowne Crescent Lane to deal with a gas leak.
The announcement was made online, via the official Worcestershire County Council Highways & Travel Twitter account this morning.

— Worcs Highways & Travel (@WorcsTravel) January 17, 2022
The repair work first began at 9:30 am on Saturday, January 15, with the original one.network message stating it could take until Friday, January 21.
However, Cadent Gas said it could re-open by Wednesday morning.
A Cadent Gas spokesman said: “We were called on Friday afternoon to a smell of gas on Lansdowne Crescent Lane where we found a gas escape from one of our gas pipes.
"A temporary road closure was put in place and a short diversion, to allow us to work on the gas pipe in a narrow section of the road. The repair was completed over the weekend.
"We are having to reinstate a number of telecoms ducts, as they had to be removed to gain access to our gas pipe.
"All the reinstatement is due to be completed tomorrow and we expect the road to be reopened by Wednesday morning.”
One.network also said that traffic delays are "likely" due to the repair.
