BURGLARS were disturbed while stealing meat from a freezer at the back of a home near Ombersley.

The thieves were disturbed while filling two feed bags with frozen meat at a home in Boreley Lane, Lineholt, on Thursday (January 20).

They were stealing joints of meat from a freezer at the rear of the home filling the bags with ten Tesco beef joints and two legs of lamb.

They potentially may have taken other frozen items as well during the theft which took place about 8pm.

It was also discovered that the thieves have stolen a quad bike from a garage/outbuilding and also attempted to steal a pick-up.

They are described as male, wearing dark clothing.
