A HUSBAND and wife team are excited to be opening a new kitchen showroom in Worcester.

Kutchenhaus, on the corner of Cathedral Square, opened for the first time on January 24 and is co-owned by Rich and Claire Harris.

The pair has more than 20 years experience in the kitchen industry and will be supplying custom-designed, bespoke kitchens across Worcestershire and the West Midlands.

Mr Harris said: "We are incredibly excited to be opening our new store in Worcester and can’t wait for the local community to finally be able to see the fantastic displays that are on offer.

"Once we saw this location was available, we jumped at the chance as the area has recently been revamped and is in a prominent part of the town.

"We have plenty of experience within the industry and the home sector is currently booming, so we believe this is a fantastic time to take the leap and open our own business.

"The team has worked tirelessly to get the showroom ready to open, it has taken three months to transform the space to high-quality standards and we are eager to see what lies ahead for us."

Initially, there are three members of staff in the team covering customer services and kitchen design, with plans in place to employ another designer in 2022.

Kutchenhaus is owned by European manufacturer Nobilia and provides German designed ranges including products from AEG and Quooker.

Sean Ford, national head of sales and operations for Kutchenhaus, said: "The past 18 months have been challenging but Kutchenhaus has adapted and continued to experience fantastic growth which we hope will continue over the next 2-3 years.

"It is great to see that Claire and Rich are now in a position to open a new store in Worcester and offer local customers the opportunity to plan and design their dream kitchen."
