A LAND Rover driver has appeared at a Hereford court to be prosecuted for speeding on a motorway.
Herefordshire Magistrates' Court heard Rhys Davies, of Rashwood Hill, Droitwich, drove his Land Rover on a motorway, the M20 between Junction 8 to 9, at a speed exceeding the limit of 50mph on March 7, 2021.
Magistrates heard the 38-year-old triggered an automatic camera that recorded the offence.
Davies admitted the offence when he appeared by videolink to the court on February 1.
Davies was given three penalty points. He was fined £40, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £90.
Douglas was told to pay the total, £204, at a rate of £5 per week.
