A Northwick resident has knitted cute post box toppers inspired by World Book Day.

People in the community have spotted these toppers out and about, each one with a different theme. 

Along Bevere Close, a Fantastic Mr. Fox topper is decorating the post box.

The mystery crocheter has recreated Mr Fox and his suit along with a bag of swag.

On Northwick Road, there is a Gruffalo themed postbox topper to be found.

Accompanied by the mouse and some other furry friends, the Gruffalo post box topper is on the corner where Northwick Road meets Beckett Road.

Further along Northwick Road, near Northwick Manor Primary School, there is a Very Hungry Caterpillar post box topper.

There are donuts, icecream, lollipops, strawberries and many other types of food keeping the crotcheted caterpillar company.

With World Book Day coming up on Thursday, March 3, these post box toppers are a brilliant celebration of beloved childnre's books for the local community to enjoy.
