A SERIOUS crash has closed a main dual carriageway near Worcester.
UPDATE: The road has now reopened at 7.30am.
The crash happened on the A449 near the Ombersley exit and closed the road overnight.
A nine-hour road closure was put in place for incident investigation.
The road was closed at the turn off from the A449 towards Ombersley and Droitwich.
The road was closed in both directions and police, fire service and West Midlands Ambulance Service were at the scene.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service has sent crews from Worcester and Droitwich.
West Mercia Police said: "Serious RTC on the dual carriageway at Ombersley.
"Local road closures are being set up. 
"Main road will be closed for several hours for incident investigation."
