Alton Towers has teased theme park goers with the first look at its new CBeebies Land attractions which is set to open this month.

More than 100 people, including special FX experts, architects and inclusivity advisors have been working away to put together the three new developments.

The theme park has released behind-the-scenes snaps as the crew put the final touches to the Hey Duggee Clubhouse and home of Gran Gran from Jojo & Gran Gran, the 3D printed dinosaur fossils, submarine and baby Diplodocus.

Fans of the hit CBeebies show will get to explore the iconic 16ft tall clubhouse for the very first time. The free-roam attraction will invite visitors to get active by climbing, sliding and bouncing their way through the interactive, sensory play areas.

Guests will be able to join the Squirrel Club and can venture to their go on favourite Hey Duggee locations, meet Duggee in person and get their very own Big Adventure Sticker Badge.

Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig which is Alton Tower's new live and interactive attraction will allow dinosaur fans to dig for 14 additional fossils, bones and skulls which have been created by the team's 3D printers.

CBeebies viewers will also be able to stop inside GranGran's home from the JoJo & Gran Gran at Home which first hit screens back in 2020.

The three new attractions and two new live shows, 'Bing's Day Out at CBeebies Land' and ‘Hey Duggee: The Map Badge’, join the existing CBeebies Land line-up which already includes Go Jetters Vroomster Zoom ride, In the Night Garden Magical Boat Ride, Postman Pat Parcel Force, Something Special Sensory Garden and much more.

Kids and Kidults will also still be able to enjoy a range of live shows and meet and greet opportunities with CBeebies friends including Iggle Piggle and Upsy Daisy, Ubercorn, Peter Rabbit and the Teletubbies.

The land will also be introducing some brand-new interactive CBeebies Bugbies to help create an enhanced, interactive experience for families as reimagined by the Little Explorers Toy Box shop.

The new images come after Alton Towers revealed the first peek of the new Bing bedrooms that are being added to the themed rooms in the CBeebies Land Hotel.

Alton Towers Resort will reopen on Saturday, March 19 and pre-booking is essential.

Tickets and overnight stays can be purchased via the Alton Towers website.
