WORK is continuing on 26 new homes being built on the doorstep of a famous film set.

Piper Homes is building Royale Gardens at Upper Rissington, near Bourton.

This is just a short distance from where James Bond film Die Another Day was filmed.

A show home on-site has been opened to give housebuyers a chance to see what the finished homes will look like.

Once complete, the development at Upper Rissington will include 26 new homes in a range of two, three, four and five bedroom house designs, all individually designed for the development.

A number of the homes have names synonymous with the Bond films, like the Brosnan and the Connery.

Prices for the remaining homes start from £660,000 for a three bedroom, detached property.

The most expensive home sold on the site came in at £995,000.

Dave Bradley, managing director at Piper Homes, said: "It’s testament to the high quality and unique designs, as well as our reputation as a housebuilder, that we’ve sold all but three of our new homes at Royale Gardens before anyone has even been able to see a completed house.

"This week was the first time that we were able to show customers around Royale Gardens and it was brilliant to get such positive feedback and share in the excitement of our new homeowners; the first of whom will be moving into their new home this spring.

"Each home at Royale Gardens is bespoke, making this site completely different to your typical new build scheme.

"The location of these homes is stunning, so it’s only fitting that we’re delivering homes that are just as special as the local area."

In addition to the three bedroom Glacier and Icarus homes, the other remaining home for sale at Royale Gardens is The Secret: a detached, part-build property which gives a new homeowner the opportunity to work with Piper Homes in designing the internal layout that suits them best.
