Schoolchildren have been celebrating success at a county poetry contest.
Pupils at Oldbury Park Primary School impressed with their performance at Worcestershire Schools Poetry Slam Final.
Principal Lee Card couldn’t be happier with the performance.
He said: “I am incredibly proud of our pupils for their hard work in creating and performing such a wonderful and thought-provoking poem.
“We want to encourage our pupils to explore different and creative ways to express their thoughts and feelings through various artistic and literary routes.”
At the poetry slam, they performed a poem about using choices wisely, which they had written and choreographed as a team.
The event is organised each year by Worcestershire County Council to support pupils in getting creative and to showcase young local performers.
