The owner of the Marlbank Inn completed new, wild challenges from Gordon Ramsay in his new television show Gordon Ramsay's Future Food Stars.
Viewers saw Amit Panwar complete two tasks alongside his fellow contestants during the most recent episode of the BBC One show.
The first task saw him serve famous chef Gordon Ramsay and two mountain rescue volunteers a meal 1,000 feet in the air at the lake District.
The contestants were divided into teams and given 30 minutes to make a meal with Mr Panwar stepping up as the person to walk across the rope bridge to serve chicken and bacon stew.
Mr Panwar said: "I've nominated myself to get the food across to Gordon because you've got to walk the walk."
Ramsay found that while the service Mr Panwar provided by walking along the bridge was good, the food was undercooked and under seasoned.
The teams' next task was to create a non-alcoholic spirit, a signature cocktail with the spirit, as well as a video and presentation for the drink.
On Mr Panwar's team was a drinks entrepreneur who took the lead and suggested a fruity drink that would be familiar to people.
After working on the flavour of the spirit and cocktail, the team worked to create a video showing a bartender making the drink.
There was significant friction between Mr Panwar and his team leader as he attempted to take control of the filming process.
However, Ramsay was unhappy with the team as they did not have a clear story behind their drink, he found their cocktail to be too sweet and disliked the name of the product.
Mr Panwar said: "If I hadn't been there, God knows what they would have produced.
"I'm not going home today."
Ramsay told Mr Panwar: "You were quite obstructive and you weren't really a team play."
In the end though, Ramsay decided to eliminate the team's leader and Mr Panwar will reappear in the show on BBC One on Thursday at 9pm
Mr Panwar added: "I'm relieved because there was a moment where I thought do you know what, I could be going home and I'm just so glad that it's not me.
"I'm here, hopefuly to stay."
