SOME tanning salons arrive and then fade away, much like the post-summer holiday look so many sunseekers experience.
But The Tanning Cabin has a much greater degree of permanence, having clocked up seven years in the business, a source of much satisfaction to owner Lisa Barnfield, who confesses that her proudest moment in business was when she realised her salon was fully established after six months.

Since then it has gone from strength to strength.
State-of-the-art tanning solariums, boasting such futuristic-sounding names as the Megasun 2000 and the Megasun 6800 Intellisun, provide additional specialist tubes to give extra doses of Vitamin D.
Lisa said: “We provide an extensive range of tanning accelerators so customers can get the best from their tanning sessions.
“We educate our customers on safe and effective tanning so customers can achieve an all-year round tan without causing unnecessary damage to the skin.”
Customer praise is plentiful: “I started using the tanning cabin weeks ago and I am happy with the friendly customer service”, “I’ve been to other tanning salons in Worcester but without a doubt the tanning cabin is my favourite” and “Really enjoy this place, great tan after three visits” are just some of the compliments paid.
So whether you think this summer will be a washout and are considering a home-grown tan, or are planning to jet off to sunnier climes but would prefer not to be too pale before you go, you’ll get plenty of the right advice from The Tanning Cabin.
