WORCESTER Racecourse has a new truck for race days thanks to its latest partnership.
The Racecourse has teamed up with the SsangYong Pershore, based at PJ Nicholls, which will see the dealership supply vehicles for every meeting in 2022.
The trucks will be used for a variety of race day functions including the transportation of the official race starters and as support for medical support vehicles.
Tom Nicholls, managing director at P J Nicholls Pershore, said: “We’re proud to have this opportunity to sponsor Worcester Racecourse with the new SsangYong Musso pick-up for the season ahead.
“Worcester Races and PJ Nicholls SsangYong are at the heart of the community and we look forward to working with them on their vital race day support.”
The Ssangyong dealership, located at The Motor House on Station Road, will provide vehicles for each of the 21 National Hunt jump racing fixtures in 2022, which run from April to October.
Worcester Racecourse’s General Manager, Michael Thomas, added: “We are really pleased to partner PJ Nicholls and work with them to supply the vital race day support vehicles that are so important for the safe running of every fixture here at Worcester.
“Having an excellent, quality and reliable vehicle at every fixture is crucial and we thank PJ Nicholls for their support as we start our exciting 2022 season.”
