The Church Street venue, known for its tapas, posted on Facebook to announce to customers it was closing for a refurbishment.

The owners of the venue, which has been in the city for a decade, said: "We will be closed on Tuesday for refurbishment. However, our other restaurant, Impasto, will be open."

The owners also told us the venue was closing due to recent staff shortages, with current staff having worked overtime.

The owners said: "We have been waiting for new chairs and other stuff for over six months now so making the refurb very hard to complete.

"We have managed to get the outside chairs (which will put on the day).

"The main reason we have also closed tomorrow is due the chefs having to work to much overtime due to staff shortages.

"Easter was so busy for us and as we make everything from scratch the work load is very high."
