The Worcester City Show, that perennial loss-making extravaganza which is no longer with us in its original format, always pulled in the crowds, whatever the weather.

We've had a trawl through the Worcester News cuttings files and found some eye-opening images.

Alongside the genteel bunny rabbit owners competition, health and safety would have had a field day with some of the the goings-on; unhelmeted contestants being emptied in the pony rodeo just one example.
