DISORDER broke out among supporters prompting police to respond after two Worcester Raiders football matches.

Police said they attended Raiders' ground, Sixways Stadium, to reports of public disorder but there were no arrests on either occasion.

West Mercia Police confirmed the first time they responded was at 5.10pm on Saturday, April 23.

Raiders had faced a Hellenic League Division One play-off semi-final against Pershore Town.

Officers were also called to reports of disorder at about 10pm on Friday, April 29.

Worcester Raiders were beaten 3-0 by Hereford Pegasus in the Hellenic League Division One play-off Final.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "On both occasions, officers attended, no injuries were reported and no complaints were received ."

Worcester Raiders spokesperson said nobody was available to comment as Worcester News went to press but they are preparing a response.
