A WORCESTER woman has had to pay a large fine for a three-month crime spree.

Philippa Lake, 35, stole cleaning products to the value of £175 from B&M, on Bath Road on January 11 2022.

Lake, of Buckle Wood, Worcester, also stole two packs of ten coca colas and four six-packs of coca colas, to the value of £30, from the Co-op store, on Barker Street, on March 10 2022.

Lake stole an Oral-B toothbrush and baby bottles to the value of £243 from Boots, High Street, on March 29, 2022.

She also stole multiple items of meat and cleaning products, to the value of £46.40, belonging to Co-op, Barker Street.

Between March 1 and March 2 2022, Lake stole various Yankee candles, woodwick candles and three to four unknown items from the baby aisle to the value of £111.92, belonging to Boots, High Street.

On April 1 2022, Lake also stole various candles, to the value of £82, belonging to Boots, High Street.

Lake pleaded guilty at Worcestershire Magistrates' Court on Saturday, May 7, and her total fine amounted to £833.32, to be paid by June 2 2022.

A community order was also made, where Lake must comply with treatment for drug dependency by or under the direction of a suitably qualified member of Cranstoun as a non-resident for 9 months.

Lake is also ordered to comply with any instructions of the responsible officer and to attend appointments or to participate in any activity as required by the responsible officer for up to a maximum of 20 days.
