AN EVENT where staff will verbally abuse guests at a popular Worcestershire pub has added an extra date after massive demand.

The White Hart Pub, in Hartlebury, will now be hosting the Karen's Bottomless Brunch event on Saturday, July 16, as well as the original date on Saturday, June 25.

The theme is terrible service and rude waiting staff, which stemmed from the recent success of a restaurant in Sheffield called Karen's diner, where the same idea is currently being used.

A social media post said: "We have added an additional date. We are sick to death of hearing you keep moaning that you can’t do the first date, jeez talk about headache from you all!"

The new date will feature two sittings from 1pm to 3pm and 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

The event is part of a wide variety of bottomless brunch events held at the pub.

What is a Karen's Brunch?

A post on social media said: "Are you easily offended? Can you give it out but not take it? Do you moan about everything? Then this isn’t for you, Welcome to Karen’s Bottomless Brunch.

"Prepared to be insulted, prepared to be laughed at and prepare for awful service.

The rudest staff ever and not a manager to be seen. This makes our Christmas Sassy Santa & The Grinch BB look like a play day."

The event will serve a meze style buffet and a 2-hour unlimited drinks package, with losers' karaoke, forfeit bingo and pin the tail on the hunk.

Why is it called a "Karen's" Brunch?

According to dictionary.com. a Karen is a pejorative slang term for an obnoxious, angry, entitled white woman who uses her privilege to get her way or police other people’s behaviours.
