UKRAINIAN coloured rocks are being left around Worcester city centre and parts of Malvern.
The rocks are the work of art lover David Beswick, of Blackpole, and were created to show solidarity with the Ukrainian people through art.
He created the art using the Japanese art of Kintsugi, which consists of repairing broken items with the use of golden lacquered thread.
Mr Beswick said: "These cobblestones, have withstood the passage of time, paving the streets of Worcester city centre.
"They have lain silent witness to the many conflicts over many years, silent beneath our feet and now they have a voice, carrying the message of the plight of the people of Ukraine.
"The cobblestones have been reclaimed and repurposed. Painted in the colours of the Ukraine national flag.
"The Japanese art of Kintsugi symbolising the healing of a broken nation, when you look at the cobblestones that carry the symbolic scares of war, spare a thought for the suffering of the people of Ukraine, and support them with their return and rebuilding of their free nation."
David has left the rocks in Worcester, Malvern and also in Exeter and Exmouth.
