YOUTHS riding motorcycles recklessly have been called "dangerous and foolhardy".

Police are hoping to identify the motorcyclists who are not wearing helmets and driving dangerously around an estate.

People have been reporting the issue to police worried that it will not be long before there is a crash on the tight roads around Rainbow Hill and Gorse Hill.

City councillors from Rainbow Hill and Gorse Hill have called for action to be taken to prevent a serious accident.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "We are starting to receive numerous reports of motorcycles being ridden by youths without helmets and also recklessly.

"Please report any such behaviour to us as soon as possible. Also, remember to try and provide as much of a description of the motorcycle as possible.

"We are in the process of identifying the motorcycle and then their respective owners or rider.

"If you have any footage then please send it to ghrh.snt@westmercia.police.uk or alternatively Whatsapp to 07814 040 007.

"Please remember to call 999 in an emergency or 101 to report any matters. Thank you for your assistance."
