THE reopening date for a popular restaurant in Worcester city centre has still not been revealed.

Bodega Catina, on Foregate Street, was due to reopen by early May but the Mexican restaurant remains closed.

A Worcester News journalist visited the restaurant today (Tuesday) but there was no signage anywhere around the store suggesting a new opening date.

Bodega Cantina announced it is reopening across social media platforms earlier this year on its official website and social media platforms, suggesting April or early May.

The Worcester location originally closed due to management staff shortages which were unable to be filled.

More recently, the restaurant has been advertising that it is still looking for chefs, offering up to £250 for successful referrals.

We have contacted Bodega Cantina for more information but have not received a response.
