POLICE have been patrolling near the city centre looking for knives.
Cathedral and Arboretum ward safer neighbourhood team members have been conducting reassurance patrols and searches in support of the Op Sceptre project.
The campaign is focused on tackling knife crime and educating the public on the dangers of carrying knives.

Police from the Gorse Hill and Rainbow Hill Safer Neighbourhood Team recently seized a collection of dangerous weapons and money.

The latest knife awareness campaign follows a successful month of The Knife Angel in Worcester, which left the city on March 31.
During its time in Cathedral Square, nearly 300 knives were surrendered at the knife amnesty box.
