A MAN who drove down the motorway despite not having a licence has been sentenced.
Bradley Wise, of Carlisle Road, Worcester, was fined by magistrates in Cardiff after being caught driving on the M4 near the city despite not having a licence.
The 18-year-old faced a single charge of driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence authorising him to drive a motor vehicle of that class.
He was convicted by Cardiff Magistrates court via the single justice procedure, which allows the court to prosecute people without needing them to be present in court.
Magistrates fined Wise £50 as well as ordering him to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £90 in court costs.
They also issued three penalty points to his driving record.
