The men, aged 21 and 30, were arrested in relation to an incident that took place at about 10pm on Saturday, while a second incident happened at about 7.40am on Sunday.

Four other men, aged 18, 20, 22 and 46, have been arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and a seventh man, aged 63, was arrested on suspicion of common assault.

Seven in custody after caravan park disorders

All seven men remain in police custody as investigations continue.

Inspector Billy Keys said: “We would like to reassure the public that we believe these to have been isolated incidents.

“However, people may see an increased police presence near to the caravan park as we continue with our investigations.”
