AS fuel prices continue to soar we have had a look at some of the highest and lowest being offered in the city.
There is a big difference in the prices, proving it really does pay off to shop around.
The most expensive garage we found for diesel on Sunday morning, (June 5) was the BP Whittington Road garage.
At the garage, just off the junction for London Road and Spetchley Road, diesel is at 193.9p.
And petrol was also among the high prices, at 187.9p.
Showing how much can be saved, taking a trip the short distance to the Esso in London Road will see you pay 181.9p for petrol, and 180.9p for diesel – the cheapest we found in the city for diesel on our travels.
The cheapest place we found for petrol was the Tesco garage in Mill Wood Drive, where it is priced at 172.9p.
The highest price we found for petrol was the Texaco in Tolladine Road at 191.9p.
Unusually the unleaded petrol was priced more expensively than diesel, as diesel was at 189.9p.
This situation was the same at the Texaco in Worcester Road, Droitwich, which had the same prices.
Among the garages offering the cheapest on both was the Essar garage in Henwick Road, with petrol priced at 174.9p, diesel at 183.9.
