A motorist who broke the speed limit on a Worcester road more than 18 months ago will now have to pay more than £200.
Robert Hughes was caught driving above the 30mph speed limit on the B4485 Bransford Road in St John's on October 1, 2020.
The 60-year-old, of Whitmore Road, admitted the offence after originally pleading not guilty at Worcester Magistrates’ Court.
On Wednesday, June 1, Hughes was fined £40 for speeding and told to pay a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services.
He will also have to pay costs of £150 to the Crown Prosecution Service, bringing his total to £224.
He also had his driving licence endorsed with three penalty points.
