When the indictment was read out to him by the court clerk Maca pleaded guilty to two counts of GBH, and one count of possessing a bladed sharp article, a knife, in a public place.

Judge Nicholas Cartwright agreed two other offences on the indictment, both section 18 wounding with intent, should lie on file.

Maca is now set to return to the court at a later date for sentencing.
