Police have issued an update following the arrest of two men on suspicion of attempted murder.
Officers arrested the men, aged 21 and 30, at a travellers’ site near Pershore following an incident at about 10pm on Saturday, May 28.
They were also called to a second incident at Castle View Eckington Travellers' Site in Tewkesbury Road, Eckington, the following morning (Sunday, May 29) at about 7.40am.
Four other men, aged 18, 20, 22 and 46, were arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and a seventh man, aged 63, was arrested on suspicion of common assault.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson today confirmed that all seven men are still on police bail “pending further enquiries”.

Following the second incident, Inspector Billy Keys said: “We would like to reassure the public that we believe these to have been isolated incidents.”
He added that residents were likely to see an increased police presence near the caravan park as investigations continued.
Police also appealed for anyone with information about either incident to get in touch either via the West Mercia Police website or by calling 101, and to quote incident number 719i of 28 May, 2022.
