A cellist who was due to play with Worcester Philharmonic Orchestra two years ago will finally get her chance this month.
Rebecca McNaught, who has taken part in the BBC Proms and toured abroad, will perform Elgar’s cello concerto alongside the orchestra at Pershore Abbey on Saturday, June 18.
Her previous scheduled performance in 2020 was cancelled because of Covid.
The concert starts at 2.30pm in Pershore Abbey. The programme also includes Coleridge-Taylor’s Ballade and Dvorak’s Symphony No 8. Tickets are £15 (free for accompanied under 16s) and can be bought online at ticketsource.co.uk
