A WORLD-FAMOUS boxer has cancelled his meet and greet set to take place in Worcester on Thursday, June 16.
Tyson Fury was set to make an appearance at Sixways Stadium as part of Fury Fest - The Official After Party Tour.
The event was organised by Celebrity/Sportsperson Events UK and a spokesperson said: "Due to unforeseen scheduling circumstances we have been forced to reschedule the Fury Fest .. Official After Party Tour in Worcester to a later date to be confirmed.
"Unfortunately, this was out of our control and you have our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this causes.
"YOU DO NOT need to do anything - your ticket will be carried over and will be valid for the new date.
"Sadly if the new date to be announced is not convenient you will be given a 100% refund but we hope you can join us.
"Your premier prime seats have already been allocated.
"Once again we sincerely apologise but this was beyond our control"
The boxer announced his retirement in April and currently has a record of 32 professional wins, with 23 career knockouts, no losses and a single draw against the former heavyweight champion.
Tickets for the event would have included a meet and greet with Tyson Fury, a Q&A, live entertainment, a sports memorabilia auction and a three-course dinner.
In an interview with PA news agency, Mr Fury said he was proud to retire as an undefeated champion but wants to shift his focus on other projects.

Mr Fury said: "There’s always going to be that clamour – even when Joshua and Usyk are finished and there’s new contenders and champions, they will always ask Tyson Fury to come back as undefeated champion and fight these people.
“But rumours are rumours. Until I say that I’m actually doing a fight, take me at my word.
"For now I’m done with professional boxing and I’ve moved on to other things, but you can never say never. You never know what the future holds.”
