A WOMAN was caught speeding at nearly 100mph on the motorway near Worcester.
The Operations Patrol Unit for Worcestershire caught the woman speeding ina silver Volkswagen at 98mph through the roadworks between junctions 6 and 7 (Worcester).
She was also not wearing a seatbelt, had a bald tyre and had no insurance for her car.
A tweet shared earlier today revealed that the woman has only had her license for six months.
The same tweet also joked that the officers "Don't think she will have a license for long".
The tweet said: "Licence only held six months; today she decided to drive excess speed through J6/J7 roadworks, due care, undertaking.
"98mph motorway in a 70mph zone. No seat belt, a bald tyre and no insurance. Don’t think she will have a licence long."
