WORCESTERSHIRE County Council has shared three roads in Worcester that are due to face roadworks today.

Lapal Close, in St John's, is being closed for carriageway resurfacing over the next four days.

According to one.network, the works began earlier this morning at 7.30am, and are due to last until 5pm over the four days.

Residential, pedestrian and emergency access will be maintained during the works, which will be controlled by operatives on site.

A letter was sent to residents and businesses affected by the closure and advanced signage was placed at the scene

Himbleton Road, in St John's, is also facing roadworks for footway reconstruction over the next four days.

The road will be closed from the junction with Stallard Road to King Arthurs Close, with residential, pedestrian and emergency access maintained at all times.

According to one.network, the closure began at 7.30am this morning and is due to finish at 5pm across the four days.

A letter was also sent to residents and businesses affected, as well as advanced signage was put in place two weeks prior to the works commencing.

Kerbing works are also due to start today for the next five days on Rowley Hill Street and Buck Street, both in St John's.
