Anyone charged with theft or burglary is also liable to be guilty of ‘going equipped for stealing’ if they are carrying any items used specifically to help them commit that offence.
Worcester magistrates, on Thursday, June 16, sent Costea to prison for three days for both theft charges and a third charge of going equipped for theft. The sentences were to be served concurrently.
