OVER 85,000 people attended the prestigious Three Counties Show and organisers have penned it as a 'comeback like no other.' 

After three years of lockdown restrictions, Three Counties Showground welcomed thousands of visitors from Friday (June 17) to Sunday (June 19). 

People from across the country came to the event and said they were excited to see it return after the restrictions have been lifted.

A spokesperson from Three Counties Showground said: "Footfall was in excess of 85,000 over the 3 days.

"It was a comeback show like no other, since the break due to covid-19 and the last show running in 2019.

 "Traders were glad to be back and to see so many visitors.

"Livestock entries were slightly lower than in 2019, but we had an unprecedented number of equine entries, with no less than 54 HOYS qualifiers, which is a real coup. 

Organisers said they were excited about the red devils delivering a fathers day card to competition winners on Sunday (June 19.)
