A DAMAGED pylon cable started a fire in a patch of grass near Worcester.
Two crews from Worcester and Upton were sent to Christine Avenue in Rushwick.
Fire broke out in a patch of grass which was about 15 square metres.
Firefighters put out the flames using a hose after they were called at just before 10am today (Thursday).

They spent about one hour fighting the fire before leaving the scene.
