Droitwich paedophile warned he would be jailed if commits further order breaches

Oliver Fearnall was given a two-year community order for breaching a sexual offences prevention order in September last year.

But nine months later he was back in Worcester Crown Court on Thursday, (June 23), when he admitted breaching his community order on May 25 and April 2.

Christopher Penbridge, prosecuting, said Fearnall had committed the breaches by failing to take telephone appointments and had given no explanation.

Mr Penbridge added the 30-year-old had completed 40 rehabilitation activity days, and had generally complied with a curfew.

“There is a reasonable amount of compliance,” the prosecutor said.

Fearnall's defence solicitor, Sam Lamsdale, explained things had been difficult so he decided to move to Brighton.

“He was attacked and robbed in Brighton, and lost his phone,” Miss Lamsdale said.

“He spoke to probation (in Brighton) about his situation.

“He is now back living with is mother.”

Miss Lamsdale added Fearnall had been on a curfew for six weeks, and it had been helping to keep Fearnall “out of trouble”.

Jason Smith, the court liaison probation officer, suggested Fearnall could be dealt with by a fine.

Judge Nicholas Cartwright said: “If that curfew has been working, and he is reengaging with probation service, the alternative to a financial penalty is keeping the curfew in place.”

Judge Cartwright told Fearnall he was giving him a four week curfew in place each night between the hours of 9pm and 6am, at his mother's address in Meadow Walk, Droitwich.

The judge added: "A second breach will lead to an immediate custodial sentence."

We previously reported how Fearnall, then aged 22, made a 13-year-old girl pregnant and later sparked a police hunt when he ran away with her.

He went with her to a funfair in Stourport and gave her drinks of vodka, white wine and lemonade until she passed out, we reported in May, 2014.

She woke up in a stranger's house in Kidderminster with "love bites" all over her neck, Mr Aspinall said during a court hearing eight years ago.
