A pair of crashes caused chaos for morning commuters in Worcestershire.
The day began with an overturned HGV on the M5 southbound, which two off-duty paramedics discovered at around 5:40am.
The vehicle, a long-wheel-based van, was on its side spread across two lanes of the motorway, between junctions three and four.
It is understood this led to an oil spillage and delays of around 35 minutes.
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that the driver was assessed and discharged at the scene by an ambulance crew.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Bromsgrove and West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service crews from Woodgate Valey and Haden Cross also attended the scene.
Then, shortly before 6:40am, there was a crash by J5 of the motorway, near Wychbold.
The collision involved a car and a lorry.
West Mercia Police say the incident was "damage only" and being dealt with Highways.
Both incidents had been cleared by around 7:45am, with lingering traffic problems persisting into the morning.
