DRIVERS are being warned of a month of delays as roadworks begin on a main road in Worcester.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place on London Road for one month to accommodate road works.
Contractors will be fixing the damaged wall at Fort Royal Park which has been bulging and in need of urgent repair.
The London Road footpath from house number 55, opposite Green Hill, has been closed to pedestrians since March.

The 8ft wall directly adjoins the park and has been slowly bulging out into the footpath over the last ten months.
Work will begin on Monday, July 4 and will involve a two-way traffic light system on London Road and a one-way diversion on Green Hill London Road.
This work is expected to last for approximately four weeks.
The diversion in place will take drivers through Green Hill London Road, St Dunstan's Crescent, Battenhall Road and then back onto London Road.
Access for emergency vehicles will continue to be provided.
Worcestershire County Council isundertaking this work in order to carry out repairs to the boundary wall of Fort Royal Park.
