THE owners of a new nightclub and cocktail bar in the city centre have revealed when the two new venues will be opening.

Epic Bars and Clubs has already started work on converting the former Alexander’s nightclub in New Street into a new venue called Labyrinth with the neighbouring Tiki Room set to be transformed into a cocktail bar called Botanic.

The two new city centre venues are set to have their grand opening on August 12 and August 13.

Botanic is set to offer “luxurious VIP booths, high tables, really nice cocktails, its own DJs and entertainment” according to Nick Martindale from Epic Bars and Clubs, with the new Labyrinth nightclub providing house and R&B music in its main room with cheesy pop and party music in a second room.

Nick Martindale from Epic Bars and Clubs said: “We’re not bringing just one venue to Worcester but we’re bringing two.  It’s going to be the first proper nightclub to come to the city for a decade.”

The proposed opening hours for the Labyrinth nightclub are 9.30pm to 3.30am on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday with the Botanic cocktail bar opening Thursday to Sunday between 5.30pm and 11.30pm.
