Birmingham has been named one of the best cities in the world in a new list.
Time Out has rounded up the list of 53 cities and a handful of UK cities feature. The list was created following a survey, Time Out Index 2022.
UK destinations include Edinburgh, Glasgow and London while international cities featured included Lyon, New York and Stockholm.
Birmingham came in at number 22 and it was praised for its “bars, Michelin-star restaurants, world-class museums, top shopping, meandering canals, green spaces, groundbreaking music, elite sport and vibrant culture.”
The list describes Birmingham as a “global city”. The Commonwealth Games will be hosted by the city this summer.
