A Worcester man has been left with a bill of almost £700 after dodging a £12.90 rail fare.
Brandon Scott caught a train at Worcester Foregate Street station on February 22 despite not buying a ticket.
Worcester magistrates found Scott guilty in his absence on Friday, July 15.
The 24-year-old, of Borrowdale Drive, was fined £440 and told to pay a £44 victim surcharge and £180 of court costs.
He must also pay compensation of £12.90 to Great Western Railway.
Scott has until August 12 to pay the total of £676.90.
